Wait, did I really see this on Facebook?
Disgusting doesn’t BEGIN to describe this. Shame on the “Coalition for the Removal of Assault Weapons” and the Bradys for suggesting that rape is no big deal.
Update: Satire. Part of me is comforted it’s satire, part of me is troubled by the fact that it’s so hard to tell…
Update Part Deux: Nope, not satire.
Dear God in heaven, they really believe this. I think I just threw up in my mouth quite a lot. Thanks to commenter “Domingo” for the heads-up.
P.S. And before the Bradys et al say that screenshot was manipulated, I ran the image that Domingo provided thru an online analysis tool designed to catch image manipulation. The verdict? The only things that have been added were the text. Try it for yourself with the initial screenshot.

It’s satire.
Yes, satire. But I took the bait as well. It’s scary that I thought it could have been real.
Yep, satire, but it DID take two looks…
Wow! It is sad that most who see it don’t realize it fake at first, but thats were Anti’s have taken their side of the “conversation”.
F*ck em, ya want to win a battle against asshats that
have no values and think that lies repeated are truth….
Shout it as an outragous sick campain that shows the antis to be who they truly are.
When they point out that its fake, persists that its real and thay the brady bunch removed it
Ya know what the real world calls people who play fair
The victim

Where did someone find that it was satire? People are asking.
Here’s the original post: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4984087690954&set=o.185721394906556&type=1&theater
Whether or not it’s satire, I’ll leave up to others.

Even if it is satire, it is in EXTREMELY poor taste!!
This is NOT satire, the Brady Campaign posted the image to their Facebook page before taking it down, and are now trying to deny everything, and blame it on other groups. Someone took this screenshot before it got taken down, check it out.

Updated. Nice catch!
But it’s not satire, I saw it on the Brady Campaign’s facebook timeline about a week ago. there are even multiple screen shots from other people. I’m sure if you search around twitter or tumblr a bit you’ll find some of them. I know I’ve seen at least a half dozen.
AANNDD the post I made sharing the original picture has magically disappeared from my Facebook wall. Interesting…
along with the satire account and every incidence of that photo being posted I was aware of. Hmm.

It was NOT satire, I saw it AND commented on their FB wall in regards to it. I was HIGHLY offended and even shared on my wall in addition to a few groups. Strangely, those all show: post removed.
Nothing else shows removed. Just those that I shared FROM their wall.
