Ok, technically, it’s two mornings after Right Online, but you get the idea.
ExJon and I blew some of our hard-earned blog income and jetted up to Vegas last Friday for Right Online, a yearly gathering of the Rupert Murdoch-backed Vast Right Wing Conspiracy conservative grassroots activists and new media, and we had a blast.
The breakout sessions were good, but honestly, Jon and I are both marketing geniuses (geni? geniuseses? geniueese?), so we could have taught a lot of the panels on how to market and improve your blog, and we may do just that at Right Online next year. Maybe.
The real highlight was the people. We got to meet and chat with Ed Morrissey of Hotair.com, Guy Benson of Hugh Hewitt and Townhall fame, Evan Sayet (that’s him on stage in the photo), Steven Kruiser, Caleb Howe (who are three of the funniest guys on the planet), Jim Sharpe of KFYI, Melissa Clouthier, Infidels Are Cool and a host of other bloggers and activists who are all excited about November and ready to reverse the course of this country the minute sensible politicians (no, not an oxymoron) get back in power in Washington.
The left and the media (but I repeat myself) keep trumpeting about how social networking and new media put Obama into the White House.
They ain’t seen nothin’ yet. November is coming, and with it, the mother of all reckonings.
And a BIG thank you to our reader(s), without whom none of this would be possible. Without you all, we’d be two guys yelling at lampposts as we push our shopping carts down the street.
Which, of course, we still do. In our spare time.
